I Make Pretty String

You know, at the end of the day, what we do around here boils down to something very simple.

I've used the phrase for a long time. What we do isn't fancy. It's not curing cancer or keeping the world safe from terrorism. It's just pretty string.

That said, it does make our lives richer. The things we create with sticks and
string are tangible manifestations of love.

We had a few of these T-Shirts made up for Sock Summit. Some buttons too. We realize that people who work with our yarn might want something a little different. What about this?

If these were available at an LYS or online, would you buy one? Which do you like better?

  5. I love them both! I'd totally buy one of either one, although I feel like "I make pretty string" is more for dyers than knitters. :) What about "I play with pretty string?"

  7. I would definitely buy the second one (not a spinner nor a dyer). Hint: many of us knitters are, um, Women of Substance. Be sure you offer the t-shirts in XXL and XXXL.

  8. Many of us crochet with your fabulous yarns too! A hook in the design might be nice too!

  9. I like "I make string pretty" and I would buy it for myself. I don't spin or dye so the original version doesn't fit me. I might buy that one as a gift for a few people I know, though.

  10. I love both of them... It would be really awesome if the one that said "I make pretty string" had a small spinning wheel on the other side (where the string is coming from). Keeping it smaller would make it less crowded and busy, but gives a visual for the non-fiber folks out there.
