Today's Topic: This is an experimental blogging day to try and push your creativity in blogging to the same level that you perhaps push your creativity in the items you create.
There are no rules of a topic to blog about but this post should look at a different way to present content on your blog..
Yep. I walk every day!
ReplyDeleteI loved this--thanks for sharing! What a great idea. :-)
ReplyDeleteWiat! Who's that cute bald guy? LOL
ReplyDeleteM
Not sure. Some hottie that I couldn't resist taking a quick snap of.
ReplyDeleteI love the yarnbombing on your way...anything to do with you?
ReplyDeleteI love all the old buildings and houses. It looks like a well-kept neighborhood. And are you really that close close to the baseball stadium?? I die of jealousy!!
ReplyDelete@International Knitter....The yarnbombing is at the local elementary school, Nettlehorst. It's a public school right in our hood.
ReplyDelete@Ktahy Sue. We are that close the Wrigley Field. It's just about half way between work and home.
Thank you! That was so fun!! I love Chi-town, I wish I could walk to work like that ;) And OMG I wish I could see those colors when I walked into my office!
ReplyDelete(me again) I also meant to say Love your "Chucks" too :D
ReplyDeleteMade me homesick! Our house was near Montrose and Western (on the river). Moved south of Boston 4.5 years ago. The coast is pretty, but I will always miss the city.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. If I took photos of my trip to work, it would include cowboys, pickups and road kill. Not so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI tried walking to work several times but unfortunately the run off from mud etc. has completely overtaken that "safe narrow little lane" for walkers / bikers to travel in. The road I take is very twisty with sharp S-turns and you're taking your life in your hands for a third of the way - unless you run for your life to work to beat the cars driving way too fast around the turns :-) But I really would like to walk - especially in this nice weather. Clears your mind and you feel more peaceful taking time to look at things that you don't normally notice when driving.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. Thank you. I lived in Chicago for 11 years and I miss it every day. Just looking at the photos of areas I know and love - even just to see the courtyard buildings we don't have in rural New York, made my day. I don't know how I missed this post last week but I'm so glad I caught it today.
